At the end of 2019, when we moved into our “dream home,” a 25-foot airstream trailer, our vision for 2020 was a year long adventure around the US, through which we’d explore nature, find peace and spend quality time with our 1-year-old boy and 9-year-old dog. Now, a year later, despite everything unusual and unexpected that has taken place in the world, we found ourselves super blessed to have accomplished not only our vision, but so much more, way beyond what our minds can comprehend. So we took some time to review and reflect upon our journey this year. By sharing our experiences and takeaways with you, we hope that you may feel inspired to embark on your own adventure, just as we did from viewing other people’s videos. Cheers! So we took some time to review and reflect upon our journey this year. By sharing our experiences and takeaways with you, we hope that you may feel inspired to embark on your own adventure, just as we did from viewing other people’s videos. Cheers! About Us We are a family of 3, plus a dog, living a full-time RV life in a 25-foot airstream named Big Sky. Specifically, David (or DK) is the driver, builder, mechanic, IT support, photographer, videographer … and all in all, the MAN that made our airstream travel possible. Peng is the planner, cook, organizer, script writer, director … and ultimately, the WOMAN who’s really behind the wheel. LOL. Bryan, our angel-like toddler, and Walter, our human-like poodle, are the little entertainers to keep us busy with a ton of joy and work on the road :) Together, we are a family choosing to Fly with Big Sky! Before we hit the road in late 2019, we were following a conventional path as many people, which typically emcompasses a 9 to 5 job and a 30-year mortgage. But we always believe that life is a journey and everyone deserves a chance to create their own unique adventure. So we decided to unplug ourselves from the known and familiar, and take a leap of faith to embrace the unknown. It’s been an incredible adventure, to say the least, never short of magical moments and miraculous memories. And we intend to continue our Fly with Big Sky and keep treading our own path with complete openness, curiosity and authenticity.
